It is my goal to be so well to do that I can afford to take a vacation (I mean a really good vacay) every year. So with that in mind you know I started to think of where i'd want to go/ what i want to see. Besides countries that I will most definitely visit (New post idea ;) ) I set out to look for places that were different or allow me to say surreal. And boy do we live in a beautiful place! So I came up with this list...! Maybe I'll make it to all of them and maybe I won't but I still just put those that stood out to me here :)
PS: I need to start on that money making process pronto.
- Zhangye Danxia landform in Gansu, China
No this is not a painting it actually exist!!! How cool is that???!!! See if they had taught me this in Geography class i wouldn't have hated it as much ;)
2. Tulip fields in the Netherlands
Can I build my house with this view in the back yard??!! And to think these are privately owned...The grass sure is greener on the other side!
3) The Hang Son Doong cave in Quang Binh Province, Vietnam
Ok I don't do caves...the thought that it might crumble with me in it kills me LOL but i am willing to visit this one. I'll spend like 10 minutes inside to take a picture and then admire the rest from outside lol.
Geographical fact :Son Doong is the world’s largest cave, created 2–5 million years ago
4. Sea of Stars on Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives
Male readers looking to put on a ring on it... You'll thank me after you see this!
Beautiful does not even begin to describe this!
Dear Future husband,
What do you think?!
Love Me.
Oh and if you use this location for a proposal tag a sister :)
NB: What may appear as a mirror image of the stars above, the bioluminescence in the water is actually due to marine microbes called phytoplankton. The effect it has on the shore is absolutely breathtaking.
5. Trolltunga in Hordaland, Norway
I do not know why homeboy is planking in the air over a cliff! |
As gorgeous as this place is...I'm 99% sure I will not make it anywhere near there!
6. Whitehaven Beach at Whitsunday Island in Australia
All of Florida has nothing on this beauty!
7. The Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States
Of course The Grand Canyon is on my list!
Its considered the 7th wonder of the world!
8. Lake Retba, Senegal
Milkshake anyone?
I wonder if there's any fish in it?? lol!
Geographical fact: Lake Retba is located in the north of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal. It got its name due to the Dunaliella salina algae making its water look like strawberry milk shake. Pink color is clearly visible during the dry season.
Geographical fact: Five-Color Pond is one of the smallest but the most amazing water basins in Jiuzhaigou lakes. It has a breathtaking colored underwater landscape and some of the brightest and clearest waters in the area.
10. The Wave, Arizona
How far out do you have to drive to get to some of these places??! *loud thoughts*
11. Glowworm Caves in Waitomo, New Zealand
I do NOT do worms but this looks interesting! I doubt i'll be standing directly under them though.
Geographical fact:This specific spot in the Waitomo Caves is known as the Glowworm Grotto, a place where glowworms create a starry effect on the ceilings. This species is exclusively found in New Zealand and is around the size of a mosquito.
12. Tunnel of love, Ukraine
I love it better in the winter!
13. White Sands National Park, New Mexico
Great location for a shoot!!! Again..how far out are these places?? lol!
14. Dubai
Ok that looks like a fairytale! Disney does have some truth to all those stories.
